Patan's main draw is its medieval core — Durbar Square and the dense network of courtyards, temples, and craft workshops surrounding it. The city has one of the finest concentrations of Newari Buddhist and Hindu architecture anywhere in the Valley, and the Patan Museum sets the standard for the entire country.
