Things to Do

Pallandri's appeal is its mountain setting — pine and cedar forests, high valleys, and a climate that stays mild in summer when the lowland cities swelter. Foreign visitors are rare; most who come are Pakistanis from Islamabad and Rawalpindi seeking a cool escape. That means accommodation is basic but prices are low, and the experience is far removed from conventional tourism. The surrounding Sudhnoti District has waterfalls, viewpoints, and trekking routes including the approach to Ganga Choti, one of the highest peaks in Azad Kashmir.
