When to Go

Nushki has a cold desert climate. Summer (June–August) is severe — daytime highs regularly above 40°C, dust storms, and very little shade. Winter (December–February) can drop below freezing at night and bring occasional snow on the surrounding hills, though the days are usually clear and bright.

The most comfortable months for travel are March, April, October, and November, when daytime temperatures sit around 20–28°C and the desert light is at its best. Pack for a wide diurnal range whatever the season; the air is dry enough that nights cool sharply once the sun is down.
