The reliable seafood restaurant in central Kalibo, three blocks east of the cathedral. You pick what you want from the iced display at the front — usually a half-dozen kinds of fish, prawns, squid, crab, and the occasional lapu-lapu — and tell the cook how to prepare it. Sinigang (sour soup) and inihaw (grilled) are the safe bets; the steamed prawns in garlic butter are excellent.
The dining room is air-conditioned, plain, and family-friendly. Two or three people can eat well for ₱700–1,000. The kitchen is at its best at lunch, when the morning catch is still moving; dinner is fine but inevitably involves more frozen stock.
