By air. Kalibo International Airport (KLO), four kilometres southeast of town, is the main air entry point for the region. Direct flights from Manila (50 minutes, Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, AirAsia, multiple daily), Cebu, and some Chinese and Korean cities. Most international visitors arriving for Boracay land at Kalibo and take a 90-minute van transfer to Caticlan port; visitors with more flexible budgets sometimes fly into Caticlan directly.
By boat. No regular passenger boats serve Kalibo itself. The nearest ferry port is Dumaguit, 10 km east, with occasional services from Manila. Most travellers arrive overland from Caticlan if they have started in Boracay.
By bus and van. Ceres Liner buses run from Iloilo City (4 hours) and Roxas (3 hours) into Kalibo's terminal on Roxas Avenue several times a day. Vans (UV Express) run more frequently, are faster, and cost roughly the same. The bus terminal is a five-minute tricycle ride to the centre.
Tricycles are the standard transport from airport to town centre — ₱150–200 negotiated. The official taxis run a fixed ₱300 fare.
