Lucap Wharf

Lucap Wharf is the embarkation point for all island-hopping trips in the Hundred Islands. The wharf sits at Barangay Lucap, about 3 kilometres west of the Alaminos city centre, and is reached by tricycle in under ten minutes. A cluster of small restaurants and souvenir stalls lines the road leading down to the waterfront.

Boat hire is organised through the park authority office at the wharf. Rates are officially fixed — three islands for a standard day trip — though the exact pricing changes; confirm the current rate at the booth rather than negotiating independently with boatmen. The staff here can also arrange overnight camping on Quezon Island if you want to stay on the water, and kayak hire is available for those who prefer paddle power.

The wharf is most photogenic in the early morning before the tourist rush, when fishing boats unload their catch and the light over the gulf turns golden. Arrive by 07:00 to get a boat before the weekend crowds.
