Quezon Island has the best beach in the Hundred Islands — a long arc of white sand with calm, clear water and decent snorkelling off the northern tip. It is also the only island in the park where overnight camping is permitted, with a basic shelter and toilet facilities managed by the park authority. Booking overnight stays is arranged at the Lucap Wharf office.
The island takes its name from Manuel Quezon, the Philippine Commonwealth president who endorsed the park's establishment in the 1940s. A bust of Quezon stands at the landing area. On weekdays the beach is quiet enough to be genuinely restful; on weekends it can get busy, with bangka boats rafted two and three deep at the dock. If you are snorkelling, the best coral is on the ocean-facing side, away from the main beach.
