Beaches

Angeles City is not on the coast, but the construction of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway in 2008 put a string of beaches in the Subic Bay area within easy reach. An hour's drive gets you to sand and sea.

White Rock Water Park

This seven-hectare park sits in a sheltered cove with its own beach. Beyond the sand there are swimming pools, a water park, and spa facilities — a solid option for a family day out.

Moonbay Marina

A reclaimed beachfront strip that has been developed into a hotel and entertainment area. Good for watersports and a night out by the water.

Barrio Barretto

The best beach strip in Olongapo, with grey sand, seafront hotels, and a string of casual restaurants and bars. It is the most popular beach destination for visitors coming from Angeles City.

Driftwood Beach

A quieter stretch along from Barrio Barretto, popular with local tourists from Manila as much as foreign visitors. It sits right on the National Highway with a small car park, and a few cottages are available for longer stays.
