The Chocolate Hills themselves are the reason to come — over a thousand near-identical cone-shaped hills that turn brown in the dry season and create an alien landscape. The main viewing complex at Carmen has an elevated platform for looking out across the field of hills. The drive from Tagbilaran passes some of Bohol's best sights: the Baclayon Church, the Loboc River hanging bridge, and the Tarsier Sanctuary.
