A small open-fronted bar on the highway just east of the town centre, the No Name has been the standard expat-and-dive-instructor gathering point in Coron for years. Cold San Miguel and Red Horse, an honest pub-food menu (burgers, chicken wings, fish and chips), and a stack of dog-eared magazines.
Friday nights tend to attract a crowd of dive guides and visiting boat captains and the conversation is invariably about wrecks, currents, or last week's weather. It's not glamorous but it is the easiest place to swap intel about what's worth diving the next day.
