Alubihod is the most accessible of Guimaras's beaches and the usual launch point for the island hopping that everyone ends up doing. The sand is white, the water shallow and clear, and a handful of small resorts line the back of the beach. On a weekday it is genuinely quiet; on weekends it fills with families from Iloilo.
The standard island-hopping circuit from Alubihod calls at Ave Maria, Turtle Island, Natago and SeaBird. Boats are easy to arrange on the beach for a fixed per-boat rate. Bring snorkel gear from Iloilo as rentals are basic.
