Tricycle is the default mode of transport. From Jordan Wharf you can hire one for the day to take in the lighthouse, the Trappist monastery, the mango research centre and a beach, with stops as you like. Multi-cab and jeepney routes run between the main towns but they are infrequent.
Motorbike rental is available in Jordan and at most resorts; it is the most flexible option for a longer stay. Roads are paved on the main routes but narrow and unlit after dark.
