Koronadal has no airport of its own. The nearest is Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City, about three hours north by road, or General Santos Airport (also called Tambler Airport), around 50 kilometres south and reachable in about an hour. Both serve Manila and Cebu with multiple daily flights; General Santos is the more convenient option for Koronadal.
From General Santos City, vans and buses run regularly to Koronadal throughout the day. The journey takes 45 minutes to an hour by van and drops passengers at the Marbel Transport Terminal in the city centre. Fare is modest — around 80 to 100 pesos. Vans from Davao also serve Koronadal directly, taking three to three and a half hours depending on traffic on the highway through Digos.
From Cotabato City to the north, buses and vans connect to Koronadal in about two hours via the Cotabato–General Santos Highway. The terminal in Koronadal receives services from all these directions, and it sits centrally enough that most accommodation in the city is within tricycle distance.
