Kuang Kong is a small public temple that shows Binondo's Chinese-Filipino roots in a very direct way. Visitors come to light incense, pray, and use the red wooden moon blocks for yes-or-no fortune telling.
The temple is dedicated to Kuang Kong, protector of Quan Yin and patron of scholars, martial arts, and war. It is a quiet stop, but it adds useful texture to a walk through Manila's Chinatown.
