Sabang Beach is the main diving hub on Mindoro Island, situated near Puerto Galera on the northeast coast. The area covers three connected beaches — Sabang itself (the busiest), Little Lalaguna, and Big Lalaguna (the quietest) — all strung along a rocky coastline with coral reefs just offshore.
The diving here is excellent for both beginners and experienced divers, with warm water, strong currents that attract pelagic fish, and a wide variety of reef sites within minutes by boat. A row of dive shops along Sabang Beach offers PADI courses at some of the lowest prices in Southeast Asia.
