Plaza Salcedo is one of Vigan's central public spaces, set beside the cathedral and close to the government buildings that frame the old colonial core. By day it is a shaded civic square; in the evening it is better known for its musical fountain shows.
It is not as atmospheric as Calle Crisologo, but it helps orient the city and gives you a place to pause between churches, museums, and kalesa rides. Come after dark if you want the livelier version.
