Al Wakrah is on the Red Line of the Doha Metro — take the Red Line south from central Doha (Al Matar/Hamad International Airport station or Msheireb) to Al Wakrah station, then a short taxi or rideshare to the souq area. The metro journey takes about 20 minutes from central Doha. By car it is about 20 km south of central Doha on the Wakrah Expressway, roughly a 20-minute drive in light traffic.
