Jubail has no commercial airport. The nearest airports are King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (about 100 km south, roughly an hour's drive) and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Riyadh (about 450 km). Most visitors arrive by road from Dammam, Al Khobar, or Riyadh via the Eastern Ring Road.
The drive from Dammam or Al Khobar takes around 90 minutes in normal traffic. There is no passenger rail service to Jubail; the rail connections in the Eastern Province run between Riyadh and Dammam and do not extend north to Jubail. Car hire from Dammam is the most practical option for independent travellers.
