Things to Do

Singapore packs an unusual range into a small footprint — colonial architecture and temple districts in the old core, the engineered spectacle of Marina Bay and Sentosa, and a scatter of genuinely wild islands just offshore. Most of the city's character lives in its neighbourhoods: Chinatown, Kampong Glam, and Little India each carry a distinct heritage; Clarke Quay and Marina Bay are the modern waterfront; Sentosa and the Southern Islands are a different pace entirely.
