Gongju's main Baekje sights are close together on the south side of the Geumgang River. Start with Gongsan Fortress, then walk west to the royal tombs and the National Museum. Magoksa Temple is farther out in the hills and needs more time, but it gives the city a second strong reason to stay overnight.
