Gwangju's best sights are spread out, but the metro and buses make a good one- or two-day visit easy enough. Put the downtown culture district and May 18 history first, then choose between Mudeungsan, Yangnim-dong, the museums in Jungoe Park, or a food-focused trip to Songjeong.
