Yudalsan is only 228 metres high, but it gives Mokpo its shape. Trails climb through pines, rock outcrops, pavilions, and monuments to broad views over the old port and the islands beyond.
Go early or late if the weather is clear. The summit view makes the city click: ferries, bridges, shipyards, apartment blocks, and the Dadohae all packed into one compact coastal scene.
