Seosan Birdland is the visitor-facing side of Cheonsuman Bay, one of South Korea's important migratory bird areas. Exhibits and viewing facilities introduce the birds that pass through or winter here, including geese, ducks, spoonbills, swans, and cranes.
The best reason to visit is seasonal. In winter, the wider bay can hold huge numbers of birds, and Birdland gives non-specialists a way into the landscape without needing to know every species before they arrive.
