Secret Beach

Secret Beach is a small cove tucked behind the eastern headland of Mirissa Bay, reached by a short walk along the rocks or through the palms from the main beach. It is smaller and more sheltered than the main beach, with cleaner water and far fewer people, even in the peak season. The name has rather given the game away, but it remains noticeably quieter than the main strip.

The cove is ideal for swimming and snorkelling — the rocks around the headland attract fish and the water is clear. A handful of small restaurants and beach bars have set up along the access path. Come in the morning for the best combination of light, calm water, and space.
