Shuili Snake Kiln Ceramics Cultural Park

Shuili Snake Kiln Ceramics Cultural Park preserves a long brick kiln built in 1927, when the area was known for pottery and everyday ceramic ware. The kiln's low, winding form gives the place its "snake kiln" name.

Today it works as a hands-on ceramics stop near Sun Moon Lake, with displays on local pottery and workshops where visitors can try making or decorating pieces. It is a good change of pace from temples, lake views, and cycling routes.
