Wanglong Lake is a small scenic area with bridges, waterside seating, and walking trails around the lake. It is a quiet outdoor stop rather than a major sight, but it gives an easy break from the busier museum and market circuit around Yilan.
The paths are the main reason to come, especially if you want a gentle walk with water views. It works best in fair weather and as part of a wider Yuanshan or Yilan day.
