Krabi Town's most prominent landmark sits on a white hill above the town centre, its bright white buildings and gilded spire visible from most of the riverside. The climb up the hill takes about ten minutes from the main road, or you can take the staircase from the rear car park.
The temple's main hall houses a large seated Buddha, and the surrounding complex includes a school, monks' quarters, and several smaller shrines. The views from the hilltop look out over the limestone karst peaks that ring the town — one of the better vantage points in the area without requiring a major hike. Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered) and remove your shoes before entering any of the buildings.
