JEATH War Museum

Reconstructed POW camp documenting the Death Railway's construction

The JEATH War Museum — the name is an acronym for Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland — is a reconstructed Allied prisoner-of-war camp on the bank of the Mae Klong river near Wat Chaichumphon. Cramped bamboo sleeping platforms, photographs, drawings and physical artefacts document life inside the camps during the Death Railway's construction. Open daily 8:30am–6pm.
