Tamajun occupies a restored wooden shophouse on the waterfront community street, with a small dining terrace built out over the river. The kitchen does central Thai food well — sour curry with sea bass, prawn cakes, stir-fried morning glory — and uses river fish when they have it.
In the evening the riverside terrace fills up with a mix of locals and visitors. Service is unhurried. Reservations are sensible at weekends. Moderately priced.
