Wat Phai Lom is one of Ko Kret's old Mon temples, dating from the late Ayutthaya period. The Mon name, Pia To, is still used locally, and the chapel is the main reason to stop.
Visit it as part of a slow loop around Ko Kret rather than as a stand-alone trip from Bangkok. It adds useful context to the island's pottery workshops, riverside lanes and Mon heritage.
