Wat Sao Tong Thong is an old Pak Kret temple formerly known as Wat Suan Mak. It is associated with the area's Mon community and was also the site of Pak Kret's first primary school.
Behind the chapel stands one of Pak Kret's tallest pagodas, built in Ayutthaya style. The chapel interior has decorative ceiling paintings, making the temple a worthwhile short stop when visiting Ko Kret and the Nonthaburi riverside.
