A quieter alternative to the Sunday Walking Street, Wualai's Saturday-evening market gets going around 5:30 or 6pm once the heat eases off. Small producers sell hand-painted cotton T-shirts, local ceramics, and other crafts not always found elsewhere. It draws fewer tourists than the Sunday market, which makes for a more relaxed browse.
