The most sociable drinking spot in Mae Sariang is the open terrace at one of the riverside guesthouses, where a string of cold lights, cheap beer, and the sound of the river make an informal bar after dinner. There is no dedicated bar district here — the riverside terrace culture is where travellers and a few locals end up in the evenings.
Singha and Chang are on tap in bottles; imported spirits are available at a premium. Things wind down by 10 or 11pm. No cover charge, no dress code.
