Prachuap Khiri Khan is a fishing town, and the seafood is excellent and cheap. The most atmospheric eating is at the night market and the cluster of open-air seafood restaurants along the waterfront. Local favourites include fresh crab, squid, and the town's signature dish, hoi jo — fried seafood rolls in tofu skin.
