The town centre is compact and easy to walk. A bicycle is the ideal way to get between the bay, the hilltop temple, and the southern beaches — guesthouses and some shops rent them by the day. Motorbike taxis and songthaews (shared pickup trucks) cover longer routes, including the road south toward Ao Manao.
To reach Kuiburi National Park or the more remote beaches, you will need a taxi or rented motorbike. The main road through town (Sarachip Road along the seafront) has everything within a few hundred metres.
