Prachuap Khiri Khan Province sits on the Gulf of Thailand's Sunrise Coast. The best months to visit are November to April, when the weather is dry and temperatures are pleasant — warm but not oppressively hot. From May to October the southwest monsoon brings rain, though storms tend to be short rather than all-day affairs, and the province remains accessible year-round.
Because this stretch of coast faces the Gulf of Thailand rather than the Andaman Sea, the seasonal rhythm differs from west-coast destinations like Phuket. When the west coast is at its wettest, the eastern coast can still be relatively dry, and vice versa.
