Love Valley

Love Valley is famous for its tall, smooth-stalked fairy chimneys — the most phallic-looking rocks anywhere in Cappadocia. They form a kind of stone forest in a side valley off Göreme Historical National Park. The walk in from the road takes about 30 minutes, and you can carry on through the valley to White Valley and emerge near Çavuşin.

It is one of the most photographed spots in the region and best visited at dawn when the balloons drift overhead and the light slants across the chimneys. From Uçhisar, the easiest approach is by car or taxi to the marked viewpoint above the valley, then on foot down a short steep path.
