Octagon

The Octagon is one of Ephesus's more intriguing small ruins, a tomb built inside the ancient city walls for a young woman of high status. No inscription settles the story, but the mystery has given rise to the theory that she may have been Arsinoe IV, Cleopatra's half-sister. It is a quick stop, but a good one if you like the human puzzles behind archaeological sites.
