A few hundred metres of pedestrianised street running north from the seafront in the centre of town — the loudest, brashest, fully unapologetic nightlife strip in Marmaris and, by some accounts, in Turkey. Three dozen bars and clubs pump music into the street, neon signs cover every wall, and the touts come at you from both sides.
This is what Marmaris is famous for, for better and worse. Cheap drinks, late nights, mostly British and Russian crowds, the kind of place where you either lean in or walk straight past on your way back to the marina.
