Xanthos is about 230 km west of Antalya via the D400 coastal road, or roughly 50 km from Fethiye. By car from Fethiye, follow the road south through Kınık — Xanthos is signposted and easy to find. Letoon is 5 km further south. There are occasional dolmuş services from Fethiye to Kınık; from there it is a short walk or taxi to the site. Most visitors base themselves in Fethiye or Kaş and visit as a day trip.
