Twin Falls is another deep-escarpment waterfall in Kakadu's south, reached only when seasonal access allows. The journey can involve rough 4WD tracks and water crossings, so it is not a casual add-on to a sealed-road itinerary.
When open, the gorge scenery is magnificent: red walls, clear water, and a sense of being far from the easier visitor loops. Treat it as an expedition within the park, not as a quick swim stop.
