The Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club sits squarely on the beach in the middle of the Esplanade. Like most Queensland surf clubs, it doubles as a community bar and restaurant — schooners, $20 surf-and-turf, and one of the best beach-view balconies on the Sunshine Coast.
The dining room books out on weekends. Walk-ins at the bar are usually fine. Proceeds support the lifesavers who patrol the beach below.
