The Wharf is the harbour-side complex on Parkyn Parade where the working trawler fleet ties up alongside a strip of waterfront restaurants, an indoor market, the aquarium and the departure points for whale-watch and dive boats. It is the second focus of the town after the beach, especially in the evening.
Sunday is the busiest day, when the food market and live music draw families down from across the Sunshine Coast. Fresh fish straight off the boats is sold at the Mooloolaba Fish Market just east of the main complex.
