Hastings Street is the upscale end — modern Australian seafood, contemporary Italian, a few well-funded fine-dining rooms — while the better-value, less-polished food sits along Gympie Terrace in Noosaville beside the river. Sunshine Beach has its own short but excellent strip. Book ahead in school holidays; Noosa is one of Australia's busiest summer destinations.
