Freycinet National Park

Tasmania's oldest national park, known for pink granite peaks, beaches, heathland, and clear water.

Freycinet National Park is the reason Coles Bay matters. The park covers much of the Freycinet Peninsula, where pink granite mountains drop toward white beaches, dry eucalypt forest, coastal heath, and clear bays.

Most visitors start with Wineglass Bay, but the park is bigger than one lookout. Allow time for Cape Tourville, Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, and the longer Hazards Beach circuit if you have the legs and weather.
