The Inglis River foreshore is Wynyard's easy local walk. It follows the river near the wharf and gardens before the water opens towards Bass Strait, with enough birdlife, boats, and town scenery to make it a pleasant reset between bigger coastal stops.
It is not the reason to drive across Tasmania, but it gives Wynyard its everyday waterfront texture. Pair it with coffee in town or with a visit to Wonders of Wynyard.
