The small Officers' Quarters Museum explains the military station that once guarded Eaglehawk Neck. Its best exhibit is really the land outside: the neck is so narrow that the old dog line and sentry posts suddenly make practical sense. Stop here before Port Arthur and the peninsula's convict geography becomes much easier to read.
