Tahune Airwalk is a forest canopy walk above the Huon and Picton Rivers, reached by driving west from Geeveston into tall wet forest. The main walkway runs for about 600 metres and ends at a cantilevered platform high above the riverbank, with mountain views in clear weather.
The site also has shorter forest walks, including the Huon Pine and Swinging Bridges tracks. It is a structured attraction rather than wilderness, but it is a good way to see the scale of the southern forest without committing to a hard bushwalk.
