Zeehan Pioneer Cemetery is a sobering stop, with graves from the years when the Silver City was growing fast and life on the west coast was hard. Many markers are simple or missing, which makes the place feel less like a formal monument and more like a record of ordinary people caught in a mining rush.
Local history tours use the cemetery to tell stories from Zeehan's early decades. Even without a tour, it is a worthwhile slow walk after the museum, especially if you want the town's boom-and-bust history to feel human rather than abstract.
