Old St Paul's

Old St Paul's is one of Wellington's loveliest historic buildings, a timber Gothic Revival church that served as the city's Anglican centre before the newer cathedral took over nearby. The dark wood interior gives it a warmth that stone churches rarely manage.

It is still used for weddings and events, but most visitors come to see the craftsmanship and the way the nave feels both grand and intimate. Combine it with Parliament and the Beehive, a short walk away.
